| Blue Tide in Phnom Penh, Cambodia With the help of our local partner, we are lifting children and young people from poverty by providing them with educational opportunities: kindergarten classes, grade school, and a program for young girls (the "Get Ready Girls") which prepares them for life and future employment. We are excited to announce a newly added program for young men called the "Get Ready Boys." These programs also address the intolerable issue of child trafficking. We want to protect our kids from being sold into sexual or domestic slavery and exploitive labor. Our comprehensive efforts at providing a hand-up out of poverty through education also include micro-loans, daily meals, nutrition and hygiene classes, along with a focus on improving family interaction. Blue Tide in Nepal Ten years of conflict in this remote part of Nepal left many children without parents. One local man has opened
an orphanage with his wife to care for these children. Blue Tide is helping provide the support necessary to ensure that all the children will have their needs met; including food, water, shelter, education, health care, and physical activity, as well as providing the love and emotional & spiritual nourishment that is so vital for healthy development.
Blue Tide in Africa We are identifying schools in Africa that have motivated students, yet are lacking in basic supplies, consistent teaching, and some structural needs, i.e. ceiling fans. Beginning with our first high school outside of Cape Town, we will provide for the needs of the students and improve their learning environment.
